I’m In The Picture (week 7)
In light of the tragic events in Newtown CT on December 14th I immediately wanted to scoop up my 4 children and hold them in my arms for the rest of their lives. We couldn’t help but spoil them this weekend so yesterday we took them to see Wreck-It Ralph at the movie theatre in the afternoon and today we … Continue reading
I’m In The Picture (week 6)
The tree is up and the kids are 100% responsible for the decorating of it. It was so nice to hear them talk about the school-ones and the baby’s-first year ones. They look forward to seeing all these little memories hanging on the tree. It might not be Martha Stewart but it’s beautiful just the same.
Life Is Good #99
I never ever get bored of this view. My kids go to school just outside of the city limits and when I drive out to pick them up on occasion, this view takes my breath away every single time. I may complain about the long winter months in Canada but at least in Calgary we get a lot of sun … Continue reading
I’m In The Picture (week 5)
Ok, I’m all caught up on this project. I never thought taking a simple picture of me with the kids would be so much work. It just goes to show how important this project really is and how easy it is to NOT be in the picture.
I’m In The Picture (week 4)
Telling the kids to “clean up” can sometimes turn into dumping and playing. I think it’s time for a pre-Christmas purge. What do you think? (a week late, I know. It’s been stressful around here but I’m still on it.)
I’m In The Picture (Week 3)
All 4 of our kids go to music class at MUSIC & PLAY. It’s a brilliantly run program that teaches all levels and ages how to play piano and the theory behind it. The program is 100% parented and requires daily practicing but it’s worth it for us, or rather me, to make that commitment. And it’s a bonus that … Continue reading
I’m In The Picture (week 2)
Here is my week 2 photo for my 52 week photo project that I told you about last week. You can read about it HERE. This weeks snap is all about the eve (or 3 days before) Halloween. We pulled out all our dress-up clothes and costumes and each of the girls picked out what they wanted to wear to … Continue reading
I’m In The Picture (52 Week Photo Project)
Last week I came across an article in the Huffington Post called, The Mom Stays In The Picture. A mom blogger wrote about how she came to realize that thru a busy life, being on the other end of the camera and sometimes sheer vanity, she was rarely in any pictures with her kids. She feared that her kids would … Continue reading
House of Hygge
Before we went on our 3 week camping trip we picked up 4 of these cozy onsies from House of Hygge. This Norwegian company developed a line of full length onsies for the young and old. These fun suits have adjustable cuffs at the ankles, pockets, zip hoods to hide your face, a thumb hole on the cuff and even a … Continue reading
