Locks of Love

Today was a big day in our house. My 2 older daughters donated 10 inches of their hair to Locks of Love . We started talking about donating their ponytails back in February and let me tell you, they wanted nothing to do with the idea. As time passed and we kept talking about it they eventually warmed up to the idea and even a couple of their classmates got in on the deal.

Locks of Love is a not for profit organization that provides free hairpieces to children in the USA and Canada who have lost their hair due to illness.

And here they are after the cut. My 2 girls gave a little of themselves so that another little girl or boy can have more of themselves back. It’s a proud day in our house.
