Never Say Never

Let me tell you a story about a girl who used to say things. Yeah, she would say things like, “I don’t run”, not even across a parking lot on a cold winter day and years later she has decided that running is actually her workout of choice. She’s worn out 4 pairs of running shoes since she started running and at her best, ran a 28min 5k. Not too shabby.

 

 

This same girl used to say she would never have bangs. She would tell people that she grew up with a bowl hair cut and straight, thick bangs across her forehead and she would NEVER EVER cut her hair to have bangs again and then she turned 30 and realized that having bangs is cheaper than botox to cover the ever deepening creases.

When she had children she swore she would never own a minivan. HA! Never, she cried at the mere mention of it. Until the day she found out that her third pregnancy was twins. Out went the Volvo and in came the Caravan and if you ask me, she seemed pretty darn happy about it…in the end.

What will she abandon next? She says she doesn’t drink coffee, we’ll see how long that lasts.

Yup, she was even heard quoting Justin Bieber’s song, “Never Say Never”, really, anything can happen!

Wait, did she ever say she would never write in the 3rd person?

Nah, she’s all good.
